Experience Across Every Stage of the Attraction Business

Every successful leisure project requires more than a good idea. It requires sound market analysis, the right development strategy, practical operating experience, disciplined management, and the ability to recognize problems and opportunities before they become costly.

International Theme Park Services, Inc. (ITPS) provides strategic, development, operational, and advisory services to owners, developers, operators, investors, and financial institutions throughout the leisure and attractions industry. We work with projects at every stage—from evaluating an initial concept to planning and opening a new attraction, improving an existing operation, repositioning an underperforming property, or evaluating an investment or acquisition.

The five areas below represent some of our most frequently requested services. They are only part of what ITPS provides. Every project is different, and our assignments are structured around the specific needs, challenges, and objectives of each client.

Feasibility Analysis

Before significant capital is committed, the fundamental questions need to be answered: Is there a market? What should be built? How large should it be? What can it realistically achieve?

ITPS feasibility studies combine market research, competitive analysis, attendance projections, pricing, revenue potential, operating assumptions, development costs, and financial analysis to determine whether a project makes business sense. Our goal is not to justify a predetermined concept—it is to give clients the information needed to make sound investment decisions.

Design & Masterplan

A successful attraction must work operationally as well as visually.

ITPS works with owners, developers, architects, designers, engineers, and other specialists to help translate a concept into a practical leisure development. We evaluate attraction mix, capacity, guest circulation, back-of-house requirements, revenue opportunities, operating efficiency, phasing, and other considerations that directly influence how the property will perform once it opens.

Our role is to bring an operator's perspective to the planning and design process so that decisions made on paper work in the real world.

Pre-Opening Operations Planning

Opening a new attraction is an operation unto itself.

ITPS assists clients in building the organization, systems, procedures, training programs, operating manuals, staffing plans, budgets, and opening strategies needed to move a project from construction into successful day-to-day operation.

Because we have been involved in openings around the world, we understand the hundreds of operational decisions that must come together before the first guest arrives—and the importance of addressing them early rather than attempting to solve them during opening week.

Management

Sometimes a property needs more than advice. It needs experienced leadership and a clear plan of action.

ITPS can provide management advisory services, operational oversight, performance improvement support, organizational planning, and experienced industry leadership tailored to the needs of the property. We work alongside owners and management teams to establish priorities, strengthen operating practices, improve accountability, and position the business for stronger long-term performance.

Our approach is practical: understand the business, identify what needs to change, and help management make it happen.

Business Assessment & Advisory Services

Even established attractions benefit from an experienced outside perspective.

ITPS evaluates existing properties to determine what is working, what is not, why it is happening, and what can be improved. Reviews can encompass the entire business or focus on specific areas such as operations, attendance, pricing, labor, rides and attractions, food and beverage, retail, maintenance, safety, guest experience, financial performance, or management practices.

Our work also includes due diligence, financial valuations, investment analysis, property assessments, and forensic reviews of projects that have failed or significantly underperformed.
We do more than identify the problem. We provide a practical path forward.

More Than Five Services

The leisure industry does not fit neatly into five categories—and neither does ITPS.

Our work can extend into due diligence, valuations, acquisitions and property sales, market and attendance studies, strategic planning, capital improvement programs, safety and risk reviews, operational training, rehabilitation and expansion, performance improvement, and specialized assignments requiring an experienced attraction-industry perspective.

Clients can engage ITPS for an entire development process or for one highly specific issue. Our broader 12 Steps of Leisure Development methodology allows us to provide expertise from the earliest idea through development, opening, ongoing operation, improvement, expansion, and repositioning. The current site already introduces that lifecycle approach, so this services page would connect very naturally to it.

One Experience. Many Applications.

New project. Existing operation. Investment decision. Performance problem.

Whatever the assignment, ITPS brings together the right combination of industry experience, analysis, operating knowledge, and specialized expertise to help our clients make better decisions and achieve stronger results.
