International Theme Park Services, Inc. ("ITPS") announces its release of the 2009 Amusement / Theme Park Admission Pricing Compilation Report. ITPS compiled pricing for over 50 Destination and Regional parks in the United States. The report provides detailed admission pricing for adults, children, seniors, season pass and parking prices for the 2009 season.
The following information has been compiled by ITPS for informational purposes.
ITPS surveyed a total of 41 regional parks and 11 destination parks across the United States. The analysis is divided into the following:
Regional Parks: Northeast Region, Midwest Region, Southern Region, Western Region

The following chart shows the average Adult gate price for 2009 ranges from $42.20 to $47.20.
The average Adult ticket purchased in advance online ranged from $37.07 to $42.65, shown in the chart below.

The following chart compares the average Adult ticket price purchased at the gate compared to the Adult price if the ticket is purchased online.
Online discounting ranged from parks having no discount to discounts as high as 38%, shown in the chart below.

Average pricing ranges from $61.63 for a child's ticket to $72.72 for an Adult's ticket as shown in the chart below. Pricing is for a single park, one day admission. Additional discounts are for multi-park, multi-day tickets. Destination Parks typically offer little to no discounts on a general admission, one-day, one-park ticket and discounts increase for multi-park, multi-day tickets.

Disney is offering 3 nights free with the purchase of 4 nights at their resorts.
Select Six Flags parks offer "everyone pays kids price".
Busch Gardens Tampa offers Florida Residents to "pay for a day - come back all year."
SeaWorld Florida is offering "buy 3 nights, Get 2 free" at select resorts.
SeaWorld San Diego is offering Southern California residents a "Fun Card" - "pay for a day and come back all 2009."
Universal Studios Hollywood is offering "buy a Day, Get 2009 Free" - purchase a daily pass for $67.00 and visit free the rest of 2009. (11 black-out dates)
Hersheypark is offering tickets through Giant Food stores - Visit in May, save $15.00 off admission and receive free parking. Visit in June, save $11.00 and free parking.
