International Theme Park Services, Inc. Expands Training and Manual Development Services
A leader in the Amusement and Leisure Industry, International Theme Park Services, Inc. (“ITPS”) announced today the expansion of its Training and Manual Development Services to encompass existing operating leisure facilities. Previously, ITPS offered these services specifically for newly developed start up attractions as part of its Pre-Opening Operational Services.
ITPS is now able to offer its comprehensive Training and Manual Development Services to existing facilities that need to improve and enhance their current programs, or do not have detailed, ”State of the Art” operating manuals and training programs currently in place.
“We are very excited to be able to offer our Manual development and Training Services to existing operating facilities. In these challenging economic times, effective staff training is extremely important and critical to the facility’s operation. It should not, and cannot be completely cut out of the operating budget. By utilizing our experience in developing training for new projects, ITPS can tailor its programs cost effectively for existing operating facilities“, said Shawn Haas, Vice President of Retail, Operations and Information Technology for ITPS.
ITPS is able to develop new manuals, provide expert review and enhancement of current materials, as well as update and standardize manuals and programs throughout all departments. ITPS can do this more efficiently and cost effectively than can be completed by in-house staff.
On-site training programs include everything from providing superior guest service and effective sales techniques, to train the trainer and ride operator certification. The ITPS manuals and training programs are customized to fit each facility.
“ITPS is uniquely positioned to assist facilities of any size or type, new and existing”, stated Dennis Speigel, President of ITPS. “We have worked with numerous Amusement / Theme Parks, FECs, Waterparks, Zoos, Aquariums and leisure attractions. As the Industry matures, ITPS has been called in quite frequently by small and large attractions to assist in their revitalization. We believe this expansion of our services will greatly benefit existing facilities who want world class manuals and training programs, but didn’t think they could afford outside experienced assistance.”
