We receive daily inquires for reference information for students, educators, enthusiasts, etc. and are unable to respond to all of them. Based on these inquires, ITPS has created this section to assist students (and those interested in the amusement park and leisure industry) in their research. This page is meant to be a guide to numerous helpful resources. As we come across other important information we will add it to this page. The following are some interesting / useful amusement park, leisure and attraction links that may be of assistance to your search. Some links may have changed or are outdated and we apologize if you find a link that does not work. Please let us know of any outdated links and we will correct.

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA)
The IAAPA is a trade organization focused solely on amusement facilities and strives to help members improve their overall general operation.

ASTM International (ASTM)
The American Society for Testing and Materials is an organization concerned with development of standards for materials, products, systems and services.

National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA)
Learn about this amusement park enthusiasts' organization and read about the history of amusement parks and theme parks.

American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA)
The AZA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of accredited zoos and aquariums.

The International Association for the Leisure and Entertainment Industry (IALEI)
IALEI strives to help its members become more successful in their businesses in the Leisure and Entertainment Industry.

World Waterpark Association (WWA)
The WWA strives to ensure that its members stay up-to-date about the many aspects of the Waterpark industry.
