THE CURE FOR CABIN FEVER

FAMILIES IN OHIO ENJOY WEEKEND WITH NO SNOW!

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Many people in Ohio spent the weekend shoveling snow in temperatures well below freezing. However, for some people in Sandusky, Ohio, the weekend was packed with fun activities in 80-degree temperatures! Providing this relief from the weather was Castaway Bay – Cedar Point’s year-round indoor waterpark resort. From the wet and wild fun of its indoor waterpark, to all of the “dry” kid-friendly activities, Castaway Bay is the perfect destination for families with young children who are looking for a break from all of the snow and cold temperatures.

Highlighting the fun at Castaway Bay is the indoor waterpark. While moms and dads relax on lounge chairs or in the whirlpool spa, kids enjoy the activity pools, an indoor wave pool, water slides, a water roller coaster and much more. Little ones even get into the watery fun in the Toddler’s Tide Pool, complete with water slides, geysers and other special attractions designed just for them.

The family fun doesn’t end in the waterpark. At Camp Castaway, children enjoy making their own crafts or designing their own souvenir T-shirts, while at Club Castaway, kids can sing and dance with the PEANUTS characters and enjoy a movie and story time with Snoopy!

“Castaway Bay is just the right size for families with young children,” stated Susan Shick, Fairview Park, Ohio, who was vacationing with her family and granddaughter at Castaway Bay. “The waterpark was so much fun and our granddaughter loved seeing the PEANUTS characters. She had her picture taken with Snoopy and enjoyed story time on Saturday evening in her pajamas!”

Recently, Castaway Bay was named as one of “The Top 10 Best Indoor Waterpark Resorts” in North America by About.com.

Castaway Bay offers a variety of money-saving packages, including a family fun package that includes overnight accommodations, waterpark admission, a family pizza meal, in-room movie, color your own T-shirts or backpacks and a family photo with a PEANUTS character all for one low price. Special packages for birthday parties and groups are also available.
