category. Amusement/Theme Park News Conneaut Lake Park sheriff's sale postponed A sheriff’s sale of office equipment set for today at Conneaut Lake Park has been delayed for 30 days. Diane Sparks, deputy with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, said the sale was continued at the request of an attorney. However, she said she didn’t have the paperwork available to show the reason for the continuance. Enchanted Kingdom to investigate malicious site redirection MANILA, Philippines -- Philippine theme park Enchanted Kingdom will launch its own investigation on the alleged malicious redirection of its website by supposed hackers, a spokesperson told INQUIRER.net. The websites of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police (CIDG-PNP) and the defunct Information Technology and E-commerce Council (ITECC) were found to have been redirected to the website of the local theme park Thursday. Dominican theme park says it met norms to import 4 dolphins SANTO DOMINGO.- The company Parques Tropicales said it imported four dolphins from Cuba in adherence to all the requirements Dominican regulations and the International Convention on the Commerce of Threatened Wild Fauna and Flora Species (CITES) establish. Tampa Area Amusement Parks Respond To Cold The Skyride at Busch Gardens was shut down today due to high winds from the cold front moving across the region. The ride, which gives patrons an aerial view of the park, is shut down anytime winds reach 20 mph or higher. Other coaster rides at Busch Gardens remained open, according to the amusement park. The object of WolfQuest is to scour plains and forests in search of prey while defending one's own territory. NC Aquarium waiving admission fees on Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday KURE BEACH – The North Carolina Aquariums will celebrate the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by waiving admission fees. This year’s holiday falls on Monday, January 21. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is one of two holidays each year that the aquariums reserve for the public to visit without an admission charge. Cincinnati Zoo Offers Half Price Admission The Cincinnati Zoo is trying to attract new visitors this month by dropping its admission prices. Starting Wednesday, the zoo will offer half price admission as part of its penguin days promotion. The zoo said they hope to attract more people to its heated exhibits during these cold winter months. Lee Constantine, R-Altamonte Springs. Constantine wants to alter the wording in Florida law so that anyone who can lay hands on a portable heart defibrillator in an emergency can use it to try saving someone's life without worrying about a lawsuit later.
