Disneyland unveils pricey VIP package Disneyland just raised the price of admission for the ultimate fan to $2,999. Starting in April 2008, Adventures by Disney will offer a six-day vacation package that includes a backstage pass to many top-secret Disneyland locations plus exclusive access to several Los Angeles television and film studios.

Cygnus files Bankruptcy  Today, Cygnus (CYGT), a long-time Ticketmaster-wanna-be, lost their long-time battle against bankruptcy. They had been struggling ever since their first brush back in early 2006, barely clinging to life as if their leader was Terri Schiavo, but today, they finally succumbed to Chapter 11, the most common ailment among penny stocks.

Theme park plan moves towards approval  India  Chandigarh, March 31 Unitech Limited, which has been awarded the Theme Park project, today submitted its concept plan to the UT Administrator for a final look. The Theme Park is to come up on an area of 73 acres near village Sarangpur.

CoCo Key: Danvers girl didn't get rash from us  MIDDLETON — A spokesman for CoCo Key Water Resort denies a Danvers mother's claim that her 10-year-old daughter developed a minor form of a staph infection from one of their pools. Still, the water park, which is part of the Sheraton Ferncroft in Danvers, shut down yesterday after a monthly water quality test revealed a higher measurement of nonspecific bacteria.

100 million indoor water park resort and spa announced BRIDGEVILLE, NY  – A 350-room indoor destination resort with a 60,000 square foot water park and family entertainment sphere was announced Monday by Bridgeville USA LLC. The company plans to build the facility, which anticipates employing 250 full- and part-time people, on 18 acres off Rt. 17 exit 107 in Bridgeville.

Wave waterpark to open Memorial Day weekend  VISTA ---- The city plans to kick off The Wave Waterpark's 14th summer season over the Memorial Day weekend, officials said. The waterpark features five slides: the Rip Tide, Salsa Twist, Tubulation, Slam Dunk and Flash Flood.

Design expert tapped as aquarium director  Jon Dohlin has been named the new director of the Wildlife Conservation Society's New York Aquarium. Dohlin, who holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Humboldt State University in California and a master's degree in architecture from Parsons School of Design, has more than 15 years experience in design and took part in the design for the Bronx Zoo's Congo Gorilla Forest, as well as the restoration of the zoo's Lion House.

IMAX Expands Network in Russia With Three New Locations New Digital IMAX(R) Projection System Fuels Network Growth Worldwide MOSCOW, April 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IMAX Corporation today announced three new theatre deals in Russia. These deals will mark the entry of the first IMAX(R) Digital projection systems in the country. Under the terms of the agreements, IMAX's digital projection system will be installed in the cities of Sochi, Nizinhy Novogorod and Novosibirsk. In Sochi, the agreement is with Luxor Cinemax, one of the largest exhibitors in Russia.
