ITPS Amusement and Leisure Industry Honor Roll

As a service and tribute to leisure industry personnel, International Theme Park Services, Inc. (“ITPS”) is proud to introduce the inaugural “ITPS Amusement and Leisure Industry Honor Roll”.

The ITPS Honor Roll was created to recognize worthy individuals who have contributed to the well-being and advancement of our industry.

We are a proud industry which puts smiles on people’s faces throughout the world. This is done in great part through the many people who work throughout the facilities.

Please take time to participate by suggesting and submitting names of worthy individuals who have helped our industry prosper. It’s our way of saying “thank you” to those who have contributed but who go unrecognized for their efforts. The ITPS Amusement and Leisure Honor Roll Council wants to thank you for your support.

Eligible nominees include park operators, managers, supervisors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, or park owners who have made a significant and /or lasting contribution that has benefitted the amusement industry.

Recipients, to be nominated for the award, will have demonstrated some or all of the following:

One or more significant contributions to the Amusement and Leisure Industry in the following areas:
- Management
- Maintenance
- Operations
- Finance
- Marketing
- Development
- Safety
- Food and Beverage
- Merchandise and Games
- Entertainment
- Manufacturer / Supplier
Has made a lasting contribution to the Amusement and Leisure Industry.
A talent for achieving exceptional results with ordinary resources.
A sincere commitment to the principles of the industry.
Clear leadership and integrity in the face of challenge.
The ability to incorporate diverse ideas and inspire those around him/her to do the same.
Nominees will have made a contribution to one or more of the following: amusement parks, theme parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, family entertainment centers, museums, location based entertainment, manufacturer, and/or supplier.

Candidates will be nominated by their peers and/or colleagues. The nomination form will be accompanied by a short biography of the nominee and details outlining the nominee’s achievements in meeting the required criteria.

Consideration will be given to all living nominees, regardless of location, who meet the above stated criteria. Selection of candidates will be made by the ITPS Amusement and Leisure Industry Honor Roll Council.

Eligibility for the ITPS Amusement and Leisure Industry Honor Roll award requires that nominations be received by July 1, 2009. For a nomination to be valid, this form must be completed in full.

The results of the Council's decision will be made public on this site beginning September 15, 2009. . In 2010, additional nominees will be accepted and the selection process will follow the same criteria. All honorees will be recognized permanently on this website in perpetuity. Honorees will also receive a certificate recognizing their efforts.

Please submit a high resolution photo of the nominee to shawnhaas@interthemepark.com along with the name of the nominee.
